The Position

As we serve retailers with vast amounts of data we constantly enhance our algorithms to discover new data driven insights. Supersmart is a toy store for data scientists and you will have plenty of opportunities to make an impact. This is the perfect job for someone with a strong CS/AI/ML academic background and real world implementation experience. You will join a fast paced, highly technical and savvy group of doers who are building Supersmart’s AI platform. You will be working with developers, analysts and the product team.

We are looking for a brilliant and experienced Data Scientist to join the team dedicated to the validation module development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the validation algorithm development end to end from proof of concept to testing, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
  • Initiate new, state of the art research directions to further optimize the validation matching experience.

Requirements

  • A Doer, a winner, a savvy hands-on data scientist, highly analytical and a team player.
  • PhD/MSc in Computer Science with focus on Information Retrieval or NLP or related fields.
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with developing Search & Relevancy algorithms. Experienced with Learning to Rank, Reinforcement learning and NLP algorithms implementation.
  • Experience with modern programming languages (such as Python) and SQL/NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch).
  • Avid learner who enjoys learning and exploring new territories.
  • Experience with visual recognition – an advantage.
  • Experience in developing models using deep learning techniques and tools- an advantage.

The Position

Supersmart is looking for a passionate and sharp quality assurance expert to join our Mobile engineering team. Thousands of global users download and use both our Android and iOS apps every day. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that these platforms are stable, running efficiently, and looking good.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of Android and iOS apps.
  • Plan, write, and execute manual tests.
  • Ensure smooth deployment and public releases of the mobile applications.
  • Work with members from Engineering, Product & Design to coordinate new releases.
  • Provide detailed reporting and analysis when bugs are found.
  • Assist the engineers in developing workarounds and corrections for issues as they arise.
  • Own mobile Customer Support tickets and direct them to the right engineer when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in manual mobile apps testing.
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, requires minimal supervision to fulfill job requirements.
  • Deep understanding of iOS and Android mobile architectures running on multiple test/deployed environments.
  • Creating test documentation, test plans/strategies, test suites, and test cases while maintaining agility.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and project management.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git, SourceTree).
  • Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, performance, and system testing.
  • Aggressively address and resolve problems, Continually look for situations that could be improved.
  • Ability to work under tight timeframes.

The Position

We are looking for a Data Scientist who will support our product, sales, leadership and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of machine learning methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences and other business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • We’re looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical engineering or another quantitative field, and is familiar with the following software/tools:
    • Python as native programming language
    • C++ is in advantage but not mandatory
    • Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
    • Experience querying databases
    • Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
    • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using existing tools.

The Position

Supersmart is looking for a Java Technical Leader / Architect.

What you will do?

As a Java technical lead you will design and recommend technical solutions for IT-related issues.

Your responsibilities of Java technical lead include working with developers to ensure quality network frameworks, you will also mentor junior level staff to professionalism , and identifying issues that affect product delivery.

We are looking for a data-driven person who will be responsible for the processes related to the data acquisition, quality control, storage, structure  and automatization of these processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for choosing/installation/calibration of proper sensor/sensors for data acquisition.
  • Quality control of the data acquired by the camera sensors.
  • Data management and storage of acquired data.
  • Responsible for the processes related to data annotation: establish clear pipeline and deadlines with 3d party (annotation company for example).
  • Quality control of the annotations and establishing a clear refinement loop (how bad/wrong annotated data will become good/right annotated data).
  • Data sets version management, storage and control (annotated data management)

Responsibilities

  • Manage Supersmart’s data & AI product strategy and roadmap.
  • Learn customers needs and the broader market through research and interviews.
  • Drive the full product life cycle, from planning and prioritization, through requirement definition and execution, to product roll-out and usage monitoring.
  • Partner successfully with Engineering, Data Science, Sales and Marketing to drive supreme product results.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a product manager in an agile environment – a must.
  • Proven track record working on B2B2C Software products, including SaaS.
  • Deep understanding of consumer shopping and Big data analytics.
